Title: My computer isn't working "properly"

So today when I got home, my friend on Skype told me to get on this other minecraft server because we were getting raided. I did and then all of sudden. My computer pooped on me. I did what I normally did and did System Restore. It completed and all, but now I can't get on Skype, Minecraft, or Google Chrome. The only thing I can get on is Internet Explorer (Eww). When I do Troubleshoot Problems regarding the internet connections it says "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (www.windows.com) is not responding." Now, I'm stuck only using [Internet Explorer] and now the only entertainment I have is watching my Skype toolbar having the reconnecting symbol on it. Any suggestions on what I should do? :(

Hahaha, its not your computer, it's just your DNS which you can fix by resetting your modem/router. :)

How is it my DNS if I can connect to Internet Explorer and Norton and etc.

This happened to me today, restart your router and it should work again

Oh Geez, I thought this thread was dead. But anyways I already tried that. It didn't work.
