Title: Villagers bug?

There seems to be some kind of bug that is making villagers disappear from villages.
There village south east of Stone Grove was un-populated since I've joined, I put no pass and figured someone killed them off.
But recently I portal'd out a couple thousand blocks and found a village, full of villagers in houses, I added some doors which had been zombie'd and went deforesting in the nearby area.
Just out of sight of the village and when I returned ALL the villagers had despawned.

Does anyone know why this is happening and is there anyway to get the villagers back?

The villagers despawned in the Villagers. Wtf?

Its just that the server can only have a certain number of entities or something

Weird. This is the 1 plugin that I know nothing about, so I'll get another staff member to look at it.

It seems they've repopulated again? No idea why but the nearby village is full of villagers once again..
Maybe it was just a form of the glitchy 1.2.5 mobs.

mobs will only spawn with 144 blocks of you and despawn when your away.

That is hostile mobs? I thought Villagers, like cows, sheep, pigs do not despawn once spawned untill killed.
I thought the 32 block rule works with villagers too?

Yeah MC spawning mechanics are WEIRD!!!!!!! I think pigs despawn only when they are not near fences?...

I suggest you put every single testificate around a fence! :D

But Ask QuintinHan99 cause the village is his...
