I have a chest between our towns because me and Epicghost27 are friends and I made it available to everyone if they want what's inside but Taylar94 broke it. IIRC you can raid an unprotected chest/furnace but you can't destroy it
I know it's just a chest but I would like it if Taylar94 wouldn't break my things anymore.

If it is in unprotected land it is free to anyone really unless you have stated that no one should brake it. To solve this just put 2 signs on it means everyone can take from it but only you can destroy it.

Thank you Julius, I'll talk to Taylar about breaking the chest (Unless it was placed very long ago and considered abandoned) , though taking the things from inside because it was unlocked is allowed.

While the "Everyone" lockette sign is a good idea, I still think it's griefing a block. Taking the contents of an unlocketted chest is different, and is allowed.

Either way, Taylar can respond.

Today I learned you do not have to yield to unprotected chests, proceed through them without applying brakes. It is not griefing of a block, apply law to any other block you approach.
