Wasnt guy fawks the guy who tried to blow somthin up in london and failed and thats why we have fire works every 25th november in britan... Dinnno if anywhere else does it :p

They used to have Guy Fawkes night in Australia, but they banned fireworks for the general public and huge bonfires in summer (November = summer) is a massive fire danger. The fire part I can understand, there have been a couple fires that have burnt 1/3 of Victoria or other massive amounts (Victoria is I guess similar is size to a large US state). The fireworks however = :(

Also it's 5th here now, you Americans are always living in the past :)
