If only you ran a server... (I haz one) You would know that updating isn't simply a yes/no choice. It involves trusting crappy bukkit development builds, updating or losing plugins, and more...

Just because I get asked this about 10 times every time I log onto the server, do you want me to set up a test server with the same plugins, for 1.6.2, to see if it works well?
