In Rainy's defense, this forum is intended as a post-appeal process to determine the legitimacy of punishments.
I would actually like to see chat logs surrounding the date, although I have a pretty good expectation of what I'm going to see already. If an admin could post the chat logs 10 minutes surrounding the events (that's 10 minutes before the jailing and reduction of balance to 10 minutes after), I'll be able to review this one pretty quickly.
-
Um are you gonna get the logs..
-
Working on it. The admins have to go back a fair bit, since it happened ages ago.
-
The logs don't just record chat. Logs for my server events are about a MB a minute so adds up very fast. (Trying to open a 1GB text document with no pad does not end well at least notepad ++ can do it)

I've had similar problems in the past, what we ended up having to do on the old server was cutting the files off at a day's worth with an internal plugin and starting a new one immediately. It would label each day's files with the date and time it got cut off for us.

As far as your punishment was concerned, it was issued fairly and, frankly, quite leniently. You stole 27 diamonds, at a value of $7,425 - Consider this a lesson learned, since you only really lost the value of what you stole as restitution, and don't steal in the future.
-
We took the diamonds also since he lied about having them took double.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, I meant that he had lost, in addition to the diamonds themselves, the value of the diamonds in cash.
