Title: Looks terrible.
Post by: Kovos_Datch on 26 July 2012, 12:51:34 PM
Ummm, is it just my computer, or does the new site look buggy?

I thought you guys said you would fix it for Firefox????

Nobody uses Internet Explorer.

Other than Sound.... who was working on the page....
That would explain why it looks bad to the other internet browsers.

Huge misconceptions about IE9 are still so common!
Annoyingly, I think people still get mixed up with IE9, assuming it is IE7 or 8. It is completely different.

Firefox is and always has been awful, Chrome is okay, but guess what is better?

Internet Explorer 9 Is Most Secure Browser when it comes to blocking Malware:
http://www.vikitech.com/4683/internet-explorer-9-malware-blocking-browser
"Internet Explorer is superior, from this point of view, to the similar browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari.
I have to be frank with you, guys – I really, really didn’t see this coming and I guess you’ll all agree with me on this. The previous Internet Explorer “saga” has made a bad reputation for itself precisely because of weak security and poor resistance to viruses, malware and other digital threats."

Internet Explorer 9 is Safest Web Browser, NSS Says
http://www.winsupersite.com/blog/supersite-blog-39/internet-explorer2/internet-explorer-9-is-safest-web-browser-nsi-says-140224
"Explorer 9 web browser does a better job of protecting users from malware than the competition. In fact it's not even close: In the first study, IE 9 is shown to block a whopping 96 percent of live threats online, compared to just 13.2 percent for Google Chrome, 7.6 percent for Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari, and 6.1 percent for Opera."

I was going to post more studies, but I don't feel like it.
Enjoy your crappy browsers! ;)

PS: I'm not posting this to be an ass, but to show you a safer browser. The conception is that IE is virus land, but the reality is that browsers are your first line of defense against viruses, and are INSANELY vulnerable. IE9 is safer than both Firefox and Chrome. Sorry.

Ako, we've had this conversation before. It doesn't matter how logical your argument is. Internet Explorer is a piece of crap good sir :)

Wait for people to start making virus for it. The reason say macs are better for security is that there are about 100x less malicious programs made for mac compared to Windows as more people use windows.

But windows is now starting to do what any major company does look at what is considered the top take it and make better then call their own. Personally Ill give IE9 my test then see how I like it (Virus/script and then overload).

Uh I tried to download IE9 but a hand reached out of my monitor and slapped me several times while my keyboard electrocuted my testicles. I am too scared to do it again.

It's amazing how there's at least three or four threads now that involve an intense argument about internet browsers, lol. So, for the sake of being included, I'm going to post this again:

I like Safari, and I'm not afraid to admit I'm a macfag, lol.

It's becuase the browsers you guys were using were still loading the page with the stylesheet from the last website. All it took was to reload the page once... :D
