Theres going to be a solar eclipse in the continental US on August 21st, The gray line on the map is where totality should happen.
If you havent seen a solar eclipse before, you should. It only happens about 72 times a century.

There was a solar eclipse in the UK in 2015, and while it wasn't total from where I was, it was >95% covered. I'd highly recommend it, and would love to see another. America is a bit expensive for me to go eclipse chasing, but I did consider it. For all of you in North America, I'd encourage you to drive over to the path of the eclipse, as close to totality as you can get. It's an amazing experience, and I can't wait for another European one
