Title: monitor help
Post by: OctoGamer on 9 June 2018, 09:08:45 PM
does anyone know what the fuck this glitch is? and how to fix it? it's really starting to piss me off. it just happens seemingly randomly for different periods of time (i've had it range from like 10 seconds to a fucking half an hour) not even restarting my pc fixes it all the time. i'm not sure if its my HDMI cable monitor or even my graphics card but i cant find anything online about how to fix it.

i'll take any help i can get i'm about to just buy a new fucking monitor and hope that fixes it. this happened very frequently like a month ago, and hasn't happened for a while but today its doing it not stop.

I remember seeing something exactly like this on reddit about two years ago. I'll try and find the thread at some point today if I can.

However, it it just a monitor issue, or does the same effect happen in screenshots and/or screen recordings? Also, something that comes up quite a bit when I googled it is making sure your refresh rate is correct, but I don't imagine that'd've changed without you noticing. Try fiddling around with the response time on your monitor, if you have such an option
