Title: How do you cut your pancakes?
Post by: Naomi on 6 November 2020, 11:22:31 AM
So in an ongoing debate in  Allison and I's ongoing friendship, how do you cut your pancakes?

Now some people get confused because they don't realize that there are opposing factions, but I assure you a majority go two ways

Squares like in a grid pattern

Triangles like you're cutting a circular cake

One is correct and the other is a freak so please elaborate below and cast your vote, The disagreement may get ugly, but it needs to be done.

This might be a factor of pancake thickness, but I generally fold my pancakes (a bit like a jam roly-poly), then cut that up into what would effectively be strips and eat it that way

Strips are good, they sort into the square category

I do both. I start with triangles until it is a small square, then I cut that square into four quarters and eat them. Also whenever I cut a pancake for a kid a cut it into squares.

I do not cut, I roll it up and fold in half.

With your hands is the most quick and efficient way to “cut” pancakes
