(Hemroids has become a more-or-less acceptable spelling in North America, apparently (based on research I did just now))
("Hemorrhoids is" is probably improper grammar anyways... unless you are talking about the word and not the ailment, but that would be silly now wouldn't it?)

(I had a different direction I wanted the sentence to go, lol, that's why I put it in parentheses. "Hemorrhoids is spelled wrong" is what I was going for.)

(And if people are spelling it like that now, I think it's more out of laziness or lack of education than anything. XD)
