Alright guys,

The staff is already aware, but I wanted to let you all, the players, know as well. You guys are what make this server what it is, after all. You guys are why I wanted to be staff in the first place. Without you, VC is nothing. (But my god you guys are annoying sometimes! )

I'm leaving VC, though. Don't worry about the reasons, the people who need to know them have them.

Keep having fun, guys. That's what it's supposed to be about.

This is unlocked again. What exactly is left to discuss? The rules are clear. We don't censor language, use the ignore function if you find it offensive, but don't tolerate hate/flaming.

As far as I'm concerned we can lock this for the sake of avoiding any more mud-slinging and random gifs.

My view is quite simple: If you act maliciously to someone, they will respond in kind if they are that low. You and sax had a disagreement. You insulted his mother, he called you names. As I said in the chat, as far as I was concerned you were BOTH being buttheads. I don't like those words, even when used jokingly, but I'm not going to mute people for saying them.

We don't censor language. Period. However, if someone is maliciously being HATEFUL using those words (rather than just being a dick), I would have stepped in. There were no VC hate crimes/harassment/bullying going on, just a kid retaliating at you by using bad words. /ignore would solve it easily.

AIDA jailed the player to talk to him. An admin needs to do rollback if it hasn't been done already and this will be lockable.

Basically when you are prisoner you're stuck in a cell in the jail and can't use commands. It's not that exciting and we don't jail people just so they can experience it. It's not a cool thing--you don't want to be put in jail!

It is a rather interesting place. I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation (or holiday, for our more English-minded folks) but it is interesting.
Oh, and I don't use sunblock. Sunblock? Ain't nobody got time for that!

What I wanted to see from you in this appeal to consider you seriously:
1. Own up to what you have done from abuse of powers to the douchery after you were demoted.
2. Explain why you did these things -- you let your emotions get the better of you? What does that mean?
3. Show that you have changed.

What I have seen:
Same old bullshit.

While I'm not sure why airborne edited your post, and you're quick to make an assumption that it was to silence you, the point remains.

One of the main staff guidelines I seen broken time and time again since I left is using staff only commands to help player / hurt non rule breaking ones, and using staff only commands for personal gain. That has never been allowed yet soon as I step down I start seeing more and more of it.

Lol. You did that. At such a monsterous level that you "stepped down" as a result.

Also the point of having staff commands is to use them to help the playerbase (replacing griefed items, settling disputes via observation with /vanish, ensuring rules aren't broken with /spectate, etc).

This has become a hell of an issue lately. Any thoughts on enclosing the arena with glass or some such like Skycastle to protect those trying to legitimately PVP?
