Parliament | Suggestions / Cobblestone prices in market
« on: 10 August 2015, 07:23:12 AM »
Good afternoon.
I've been to the market and I saw the cobblestone selling prices.
64 cobblestone sells for $1.20 whereas 1 cobblestone piece sells for $0.15
That means if you sell your cobble 1 piece at a time you can get $9.60 for a stack, whereas if you're lazy and can't be bothered to do that, you only get $1.20.
My request is that either the stack price gets amended to $9.60 OR somehow amend the 1 piece price, but if you were to amend it so that 64 = $1.20, you'd have to sell each piece of cobble for: $0.01875, which is slightly ridiculous.
Thank you,

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Player Input: Modded Server Idea

I love FTB. Now I'm pretty useless when it comes to what modpacks and stuff but I would just like to say, FTB = I would be on it 24/7. Now I wasn't there for the last FTB server we had 'cause it was probably during one of my 6 month breaks lol.
One thing I would particularly like is the Better Breeding Mod. It just makes farms more interesting lol.

I remember you saying ages ago you were trying to make plugins. Still do that? Your sign-off seems very similar to a comment :P
Yeah I do, I've been doing some little custom work but no major stuffeh, eg I haven't made anything public yet, but I plan to during the summer break. I also do some java stuff that isn't just making plugins and some gaming coding stuff on Scratch and a program called GameMaker which I've become more successful in than I had anticipated, eg within the first hour of releasing a new game I had had 200 views (I know that's not massive) or something and I'd expect 3. I also am currently working toward a BAFTA Young Game Designers award which I was selected for by my school along with 3 other people. :) So yeah, you could say I still do it. :P I've been getting programming stuff up to scratch before I attempt a public plugin, but I've done auto-broadcast stuff and I also plan to create a plugin to convert usernames into the code things in order to reduce (but not altogether prevent) problems with Essentials once name changing is enabled, however it is not proving altogether easy as I am trying to find out how to find out your code.

//Becky

Nice! Best of luck with your game designers award! I should really do stuff like that, but hardly anyone IRL knows I code :P

Yeah, the username -> UUID will be tough, although essentials have brought out a dev build today(?) with support for it. Believe me though, bukkit devs have it easy. Actual mods are much tougher :D
Well I've started actually coding it. I know some plugins like PermissionsEx have already made it change but for all those mini plugins that probably aren't gonna update for a while I just thought I'd have a go.

I'll pay all my money, which I hope is a lot but I really can't remember. I think I've got at least 50k but I can't get online much because of my crap wifi so I'll go check when I can! :D
If anyone offers more than me, then I'll go earn some more money, as I'm not giving up that head that easily. xD
I also have resources I can give you, like I have months of supplies... months and months... over a year... because I've got loads of random stuff in my chests.

Does this mean I can do, '/modreq Make me a sandwich'?

If so then this is a instant win. If the staff member forgets the cheese. That's a different story.

Most certainly yes. :P However some people might take it a bit too literally and kick ya for spamming the system. Also, how can anyone forget the cheese for a sandwich? Cheese is like... the best and main part of the sandwich.
P.S Never let anyone put mustard in your sandwich, it tastes like... horrible... like... don't even go there.

Does actually seem quite good.

The comments mention a server freeze though due to a badly coded update checker, although it'd be very easy to modify the plugin to remove this feature to allow it to work properly. :P

I used this plugin this morning; didn't require make a difference for me, however I was using 1.7.2 if that makes a difference. :P Haven't checked the version or anything like that for the plugin, so I may just be giving some kinda irrelevant information...

I mean, if there are problems with this we can probably recruit Luis and Freelix to make an exclusive VC version.

I'm pretty sure Luis can do absolutely anything, I don't know this Freelix person though. :P

Parliament | Suggestions / 'Modreq' plugin suggestion
« on: 27 April 2014, 06:56:03 AM »
Hello people,
I've seen this plugin on other servers and it's really useful.
http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/modreq/
Basically it stands for Moderator Request, and when one needs help, one simply type the command /modreq <message> and a moderator can 'claim' it and help the player in question, for example, let's just say, I need an area clearing with WorldEdit, so I mark it out with glass and then type /modreq Please could the area with glass borders be flattened/cleared? Thanks, and then if no mods were online and I needed to leave, and I don't know... let's say Chaos logs  on and types /check and see's there's an open modreq by Buildbecky, if he was feeling nice, he could claim it, clear the area, then /done it with a comment then everything would be sorted! Eg: /done Area cleared!
These 'modreqs' can have limits set so that each person can only send 1 modreq at a time, to prevent people spamming the system.
I think this would be a good plugin to have as it would allow people to get help more efficiently and rather than someone spamming the chat with a mod's name when they are AFK, one can simply send a modreq to get it done when they are back.
Thanks,
//Becky

« on: 12 November 2013, 04:23:27 PM »
I can't even remember when I joined. I have a memory of a goldfish, actually worse. Anyway, I think I joined around 1.4? It was my first survival server (And last). Since then I have learnt many things, and I wouldn't know half of them if it wasn't for VC. Yeah. :) The good old days... (Not that now isn't good, it is just when I joined I didn't have a care in the world, now I am so busy and stuff.)

P.S I haven't been on for a while because I have been focusing on my IRScheme which is due real soon and I didn't start until like 2 weeks ago.

Well... I have been learning how to make and develop plugins recently, so I may be able to help, but I would have to stay at the fairly simple end of things...

You've started learning java???

I have been learning java for a year now. But I learnt java before I knew it was related to minecraft.
Oh and Luis, tick handlers can cause various problems, because of one thing goes wrong, it just fails...

But i have you to do it for meh *sobs* okay
Not trying to be mean but how are you gonna run a server if you don't even bother to learn how to find out things by yourself...?   ???
He doesn't run a server, he is just a moderator. He was co owner, but then he got demoted XD. This is for lividup64's server.

I don't see how someone getting demoted is funny.

It really is... Just because he got demoted for staff abuse and he was staff. And also he copied and pasted my build with world edit, and PASTED IT in my own village, so then I nuked him and the pasted build.

Damn you are the consummate stool-pigeon. Droppin' dimes on motherfuckers like it's cool lol.

1) Witch! Your back? I assume your computer is fixed?

2) What is the point of a chunk loader? Like what is the point? I know it is to keep chunks loaded. But why the heck do you need unused loaded chunks?

3) Do not comment on the fact that I posted a post that some idiots might not think has a use, cos I am asking a question.
