Villagecraft is not the best place to be asking for this type of advice. I'm assuming you're in school and probably have access to a guidance councilor, so that's a good start. It takes a lot to change who you are and really step back and look at yourself and acknowledge what needs to be fixed to become a better person. My best advice is to think before you act and ask yourself if that's the type of person you want to be known as.

My question is whether or not CRH is a member of this village. If he's not, he has no obligation to follow the posted rules of the village. You cannot force a player into a no keeps pvp if they did not accept and agree to it, that's just not how it works. Having a village with pvp on is a risky move as it allows any player to wander in and start attacking if they choose so, and again, with no requirement to give the items back. If you got everything back except for one thing I'd consider yourself lucky and move on. This was just my two cents, staff as a whole will post a decision asap.

It's unfortunate to hear about your vc friends blocking you, however you must realize this is your own doing and this could have very easily been prevented. If this is your last appeal I wish you luck on your future endeavors. Feel free to re-appeal after January 31, 2022 like Dallas said.

May I suggest that when you re-appeal you use the correct format, and truthfully explain why you were banned. Any untruthful statement on why you were banned in your next appeal will result in a deny.

We know why you were banned and to come and try and appeal under the false reason of "slightly inappropriate" behavior when in fact you were sending explicit things to someone well underage insults our intelligence. You're a disgusting individual and will be shown no sympathy towards your ban.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but you purposely cheated so you could get banned because you wanted to stop playing VC? I think that might be a first if that's the case. I think adding that you have autism/adhd has nothing to do with this appeal and if anything was used as an attempt to gain sympathy even though you said it wasn't. In the end of your "appeal" you said that this is more of an apology then appeal, and considering you didn't use correct format I can see that. If you really needed to be banned to stay away from vc then maybe you should stay banned as it's not healthy to be that badly addicted to something. For these reasons I do not believe you should be unbanned. Again though, correct me if I'm wrong.

In a case when someone is x-raying I think it has to be assumed that all ores, armors, weapons, and so on were obtained via the cheat. If we were to resupply you with the items you said were gathered legit we would have to take your word for it, and being that you're not off to a great start when it comes to trust, I don't think we will be doing that. I think what cyphur did was more then enough when it comes to reimbursement and now you can gather your materials without question as to whether or not they are legit (assuming you don't cheat again). Unless any other staff would like to way in within the next 24hours, appeal will be denied and topic will be locked.

How? Its all about context and how it is used. If I call someone the N word yes then it would be hateful but If I say for example" What's up my N" then it might not be hateful in that context. This is the problem with this type of rule.

I don't mind how or where we add it I just think it should be put somewhere. I guess i'm fine with this as long as it's very lightly enforced and someone doesn't get in trouble every time the N word is used or when something is said that someone doesn't like. I don't agree with the douche rule as again it's left up to players to decide when someone is coming off as a douche which could get out of hand. As long as this isn't the first step to snowflaking vc I don't have a huge problem with it.

He was simply changing the current spawn to make it better sense they wanted to replace it with an entirely new spawn. I don't see anything wrong with what octo did to the spawn.

I agree with Mali, just because it took octo a minute to respond doesn't mean he was unwilling to restart the server. He could have very easily just not replied in chat and made someone else do it. I pinged Luis because he was usually online and the main person who would restart after a crash. Your first point was much better, but there needs to be a lot more evidence and reasons which I assume you will address in your next posts.

I understand where you're coming from when it comes to locking a friends post to save them or along that line but to be clear I have never and will never lock a post prematurely out of personal interest or that of a friends. From my understanding staff were in agreement and no one came out to object to the ban until after it had been locked. Still not sure why you needed so much proof surrounding an appeal that didn't concern you, but as you can see it was heavily talked about. I do like your change of tone and I appreciate the apology, I think if you had structured the beginning post better and not come of as toxic and demanding this might have gone better overall. I don't really think the logs were relevant or even helped your case, if anything it did more harm then helped.
