I liked it due to the rewards after sacrificing enough to your god. I was granted many boons, but my favorite was the fire aspect II stick.

Livid, don't spam RC like that you muslim idiot, you better mute yourself for a day like ako said. As for the "hate speech", that isn't hate speech, just fucking around. Also, Livid is literally a brown muslim, he is obviously joking about the racist shit.

/whenwillweupdate explains why it takes a while, but basically I need to test all the plugins to make sure that work correctly on 1.11. I had hoped to get it done by Christmas, but I've been ill the past couple of days, so that deadline might become by the end of the year. It's high up on my to-do list though, don't worry :)
Take your time. Merry Christmas

Why do you guys all care so much about quartz? If you need some go get it. It's easier to find than gold, and I find a lot of gold.

I feel like if more people were on more often, I would come on more often. But that just hasn't been the case recently. I think the server hit a bit of a slump, but I hope it'll be back soon.

Why idiots shouldn't get to vote.
That's why the electoral college was put in place. If you honestly think that then, that thought is the reason Hillary lost. She won the popular vote, but not the electoral college.

11
Unbelievable that the deplorables won. Every single one of them who voted in a swing state are unforgivable for absolutely ruining America. You elected a president who has no plan who has no political experience and who doesn't know how to run a country. Well done for normalising sexism, homophobIa and racism. You cannot claim you are not at least partly one of these if you voted for him. Well done fuck you
There is this great thing called impeachment. If he's really that bad, it's not like nobody can stop him.

12
come on guys lets turn on cnn and see Hillary win ;d
2 of the 3 polls are showing Trump ahead. Opposite of yesterday. But, who knows. It's anyone's game.

General Discussion / Re: A message to young people
« on: 4 November 2016, 09:35:09 PM »
To all you kids out there who blame everything on your cousin/ brother.
You only have yourself to blame.
We don't buy it.
What happens on your account is your responsibility, no matter the perpetrator.
If someone else is getting on your account, change your password.
Grow up and take some responsibility.
Not all young people do this, but those of you who do, you know who you are.
What the hell is with people on this server calling out young people.
I mean not to trigger you. It's just that these people tend to be like 9 or 10. I don't mean young people as in like under 20.
Why do you need to generalize young people?
I'm not trying to generalize young people as the people that do this. I'm generalizing the people that do this as young people. I also said that they knew who they were. If you not that's not you, you have nothing to worry about.  ;D

« on: 2 November 2016, 04:46:56 PM »
so before I vote, what kind of types of events are the candidates thinking about, and how often?

If I get elected, I would do PvP/PvE, Mazes, Builds, and Capture the flag events. And many more that I will leave as a mystery. As for how often, Im think 1 every week. This may change depending on what the next event is.
Mazes? DID SOMEONE SAY MAZES!?!?!?!?

So I got a lot of not Americans answering, I got a lot of '2) If I vote third party my vote will be wasted because nobody else will.' answers.
I have a solution for this, let me know what you think.
I think the US should go back to a 2 vote system, where everyone casts 2 votes. One vote for one candidate, and a second for another. The reason we should do this is because then the democrats will most likely vote democrat and a third party, and the republicans will vote republican and a third party. Through this system third parties will be brought into play. After the 2016 election many new parties will be formed I am guessing, due to the unrest and unsatisfactory candidates for the major parties.
Imagine a party for every spot on the political spectrum and a party for every type of moderate.
Originally the US, had people cast 2 votes for the president. Each for a different candidate.
Did the US used to use an Alternative/Ranked Vote system? That's what you're talking about, right?

When electing a house of representatives, this type of system fixes some problems with FPTP, but creates a bunch more, and doesn't necessarily make things more proportional. It does give a voter more choice, though, which is nice.

A proportional representation system may as well just be used if you're looking for a way to allow every political spectrum viewpoint to have a shot.

I mean the fact there is only one 'seat' kinda makes it hard to get a good voting system, but something like STV may be useful, if people know how to use it. Then third parties could have a chance to thrive.

This is totally true, except the voters are techincally voting for delegates, which are awarded on a state-wide FPTP basis where winner takes ALL delegates for that state. A couple states (I think Maine is one) have decided to award their delegates proportionally instead, which seems a good solution for all of the states to put into place.

Many people complain about the current candidates in the election. Why don't you vote third party? Pick one.

1) I'm fine with the candidates.

2) If I vote third party my vote will be wasted because nobody else will.

3) They are just as bad.

4) I don't know enough about them.

True, however once those six gold are crafted into a powered rail, they lose value. I believe gold is more valuable than the powered rails and agree to the request for a lower price. I'm not saying they should be $5, just not $100.

A monkey climbed on my head earlier in the jungle, now I want a monkey. He smelled like wet dog, though.

Bonus pic I took at the top of that jungle trek, mayan ruins. I was in a place called Tulum, look it up. Very cool.

Oooooo, You have an attractive forehead.

Hunter is now eligible, but I guess I won't add him to the ballot. That's a shame. Someone encourage him.

I'd like to run this election tomorrow so that we can choose a CM to start Nov 1st. We can still have nominations and add people to the ballot as the election takes place, but they will have to work harder for votes, I'd assume.

A few people have 1 or 2 nominations. If you'd like to get on the ballot please get 3 soon!
My self nomination counts as 3. Add me
Are you even active air?

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Real Life: Terra-forming of Mars/Moon
« on: 25 October 2016, 04:32:09 PM »
To be clear: Mars does have a magnetic field (weaker and less complex than Earth's), and it does have an atmosphere (thinner than Earth's).

1.
This sounds nuts. Nuclear warheads distribute radiation. It's sad how many have been detonated on Earth. If we're going to warm up the poles, hopefully we can do it with something else that doesn't produce radiation.

2.
I don't think burrowing is a method of terraforming, but just a method of inhabitation. It has the advantage that there would be less UV radiation from the Sun underground.

3.
There are small animals that can survive in space (such as tardigrades), it's possible that some could survive on Mars with some atmosphere too. This seems like the most interesting option. The obvious problem is that if there is life on Mars, this might ruin our chances of finding it.

Another thing worth noting: The reason we haven't done these things yet is because we are still learning about Mars, and it would be really expensive. I could see the earliest stages of this happening in the 2020's with SpaceX or 2030's with NASA.

The Moon is pretty interesting because it has a partially molten core, it is made out of almost the exact same things that the Earth is made of, and it's really close to us compared to everything else. It's low gravity makes it easy to land and take off, but with essentially zero atmosphere, terraforming it is a huge task. It also doesn't spin - the same side is always facing the Earth - which makes for a unique set of challenges. Just some thoughts.

Europa or Titan might also be worth looking at.
Nukes would also violate the United Nations, Treaty of 1967.

Sweet, I like them both and want to see if others wanted to try mob hunt as well.

As far as server difficulty, if one has essentially beaten the game and has the best equipment one can acquire, there is not a practical change which can increase the difficulty of the playing experience. There is no way in survival to make it harder for the better equipped while easier on the newbies- it's the other way around. Scrolls are a general annoyance to experienced players on the server, not to mention to new players. I cannot see a modification that could possibly be acceptable besides removing it entirely.

If anything should be added to enhance entertainment, it's minigames. A mob arena which could progressively get tougher, spleef and skyblock are several examples I had in mind. This isn't really a modification of the survival/outlands experience; see my point above.

Good gear which experienced players of the server have keeps people from dying...if someone has an issue with it just take it off. *cough..shadow..cough*
A) I'm only 9.2% inexperienced.
B) I have good armor, I choose not to wear it.
C) Death and I are chill. I've got no problems with dying.

There plugins. there is a difference Mods adds new things into the game, or changes the games code completely.

Whereas plugins just do already ingame things.
I forgot about that. Noket lectured me on that once. Either way.
