For as much as it's worth, I have seen several instances where both players and staff have claimed that there is a policy regarding administrative requests being followed, simply by the virtue that an administrator requested it, for general instances such as this. If Air asked several times (which according to the logs, he did), then he did technically make an administrative request, which he was in his rights to do, of course.

As far as it seems though, it was just a misunderstanding as to the seriousness of Air's request - perhaps Dom didn't think Air was being serious (even after he was muted). In the future, Air might want to delineate more effectively the difference between his joking around (which he does a lot) and his seriousness (which is seldom seen, lol).

By the same respect, Dom could probably benefit from a bit of prudence in matters where Air makes requests, at least until a more clear boundary can be established between what is able to be joked about and what is off-limits. It would probably eliminate a lot of heartache down the road.

The item deletion is what causes the improved performance

That's what gets rid of the crap we leave lying around (ex: auto-farms) that lag the crap out of the server.. well, contribute to it. It also does other things.

Lol, sorry, guys, it's getting super busy. I've been asked to get involved with a research project about iPad apps in the classroom, I'm scheduling an entire club's visit to a massive convention in February (as well as coordinating a presentation I'll be giving at that same convention, TMEA), and I'm a TA in two courses in addition to my 18-hour workload and the three extra-curricular choirs I'm a part of in order to make enough money to put myself through college. I've barely got time to sleep!

I'm hoping this lays off soon, since we've got a concert on the 7th for one of the choirs that I spend a large chunk of time with, so maybe I'll find myself with a few hours to spare every couple of days.

Well, you guys may or may not have noticed my recent disappearance, which is almost entirely (like, 95%) attributed to the fact that, as a Junior, my course load has increased tenfold because of the sudden sharp increase in difficulty of the music classes I'm taking, combined with an attempt to earn the school NASM certification, as well as an entire recital that I have to plan for myself, perform 30 minutes of music in, and plan a reception for afterwards (a good three hour event, when it's all put together).

I'm looking at getting the schedule smoothed out a bit more over the next few weeks, which should give me some more free time, although I have joined two new choirs since last year so we'll see about that. Needless to say, I've been singing so much that my throat is almost constantly tired. Yep, being a music major really seems like a good idea now...

tl;dr - I'll be back soon. Don't miss me too much.

This would, by basic process of deduction, imply that I rarely even go on that server (hence the word "barely"). Specifically, I'm only able to get on there about one hour a day, if I'm lucky. The rest of the time I'm idling in skype chat and online while working on things like online courses, conducting, rehearsing solo vocal pieces, and various things of that nature.

If you are going to try and trip me up on nonexistent contradictions, at least do a little better with your selective quote choices. I understand you're upset about recent events, but you must contain your anger, or at least direct it a little more passive aggressively. Perhaps I could give you a few lessons.

He did not tell staff we found out, and Islid you failed to realize I quote your statement of where you had gone yet you come back and say you are getting paid on another server (which is verified though a different source) which you had been saying you where to busy with school. So how you manage to get admin on a server when you have been spending so much time on school.

Now your not obligated to tell us anything about your personal life, but you chose to and comparing what you said earlier to now does not hold up. So you if wish to insult me when I was wonder what happened in the middle when you said the beginning and the end be my guest.

What I said earlier was that I was heading out because of school, and yes, I did inform some of the staff of the new position I received - I told the people I cared to know. I apologize for not inviting you to the party.

I got the administrative position via application, which I also told several people I was doing before school picked up, thanks for asking! They loved my application and credentials and asked me to be an admin right away. I was honored to do so, considering the server was being run for my most favourite of persons - Hank Green of the Vlogbrothers!

You really ought to come check it out. I'm sure I can't post the IP here, but if you really insist, I can probably message it to you or something. I don't want to pull people away from here.

By chests I assume you mean enderchests, which is a chronic problem the server has been having - you'll have to get an admin to break it for you.

You might have to type out his whole name, if you haven't tried that already. Sometimes it doesn't recognize just /msg cj, my client complains about that a lot.

When CJ receives your message, he can decide whether or not to lift your mute. If you admit to spamming and got muted for it, then there's little else I can really do other than to say quit spamming and you'll get unmuted when you get unmuted.

Well, this post is really about two issues, both of which can be quickly addressed:

1. According to prior judgements on PVP TP kills, according to things that mods have done in the past, teleporting to someone with the sole intention of killing them WITHOUT TELLING THEM ANYTHING does not fall under the category of douche, and therefore does not require a fee to be levied against the offender. If he teleported to him after telling him he just wanted to look at something or come help you, however, that is against the rules.

2. As far as your behaviour further on the server and here on the forums, that is unacceptable. Threats towards the server are not taken lightly and you should not use those and expect to get away with it. Whatever punishment was levied against you, that is how it will stay, because of your heinous actions. Don't act like that again and expect to be treated nicely.

I'd like to hear from either a mod/admin that can look at logs, or from Noah himself, regarding Scope and whether or not he said he just wanted to look at something or help Noah before teleporting to him to kill him. In addition, if he did grief, then that needs to be addressed as well.

Waiting for input on the first problem from a mod or the player themselves.

Provided they're not part of the town, they can't edit anything, which means all of your constructions are perfectly safe - staying inside your own home would be enough to keep them away, with some creative door construction.

As CJ said, they're not doing anything that's actually wrong - no griefing, PVPing in a non-PVP area, nothing like that, so there's not much to be done. Post a report if they engage in an actual legitimate activity.

As far as the lava is concerned, asking a mod about it next time you see one should suffice to have it removed.
