Millionaurefor and DMANahsley both killed my dog while I was mining. I could hear my dying dog which made me go to them and they sai they killed my dog!!!

Indeed, the minecraft code does not provide for wolves to randomly attack for no reason. The owner either has to attack you, or you must have attacked the owner or the wolf.

For this reason, the more important question is WHERE did this happen? Outlands?
