Should we change the website layout?

I'm thinking of redoing the website because I find the current one crowded and too dark. You can find the addresses below:

Keep in mind that the new layout is a work in progress and will look better when I'm done, I just want to know if I'm on the right track. Please vote on the site layout you prefer. Thanks!

I like the one we currently have

The current one is much more well-designed than the new one, but like you said, as you work on it I think it will improve. I'd be more interested in seeing something closer to a finished product (a somewhat foolish demand, since you're not likely to work on something that won't get approved, lol) before I make my personal decision. However, I like the direction the new site is going in.
