As a European, it made me think his idea of leaving NATO may not be such a terrible idea if he's going to start some sort of war. Then I realised we'd probably be dragged into it anyway, so it's sill a terrible idea.

I don't understand what goes through his head sometimes. Especially with the comments on North Korea. Does he realise he can't say what he likes all the time?

No no, I completely agree. with you. You interpreted my reply wrong. I think NATO is a great idea. It was just the part of my brain that thought if he's going to start a war, him taking America out of NATO means the rest of us don't get dragged into it. That's what I meant by that. NATO is great.
