Hey my name Wabanog and I built Kuyuchi with my friend Fancy_Panties. We were thinking about embarking on another project but I am just curious if there is any chance that the server shuts down within the year? Seems players have been in decline, and I haven't seen anyone on any during the times I have logged in (granted I am in Russia but there are a lot of Euro players if I remember correctly).

Hi Wabanog. So long as people donate and fund the server, the server persists. Donations keep coming in, so here we are. So yes, go ahead and start that project.

As for the long term? Minecraft's player count is in decline but it's still a pretty strong game. The game's peak player count is past, but I can see Minecraft going on for an almost undeserved long span of years. I don't have the heart to close the server so long as it is funded, so it remains open as long as all you kind people want it to, years if you like.

Ohh, I remember you. Yeah, Ako is right. This I thought we would shut down last year but didn't, so I doubt we will this year.
