This is dumb but I really, really think we need to tone down the general aggression and unfriendliness that's been happening on the server recently. Some of it has been to hammer in a point, such as Gerritt's post about Octo, others... seem completely out of the blue and unnecessary. Regardless of the cause, angry words have been flung around, and despite this all being online, real people have been hurt by some of the words said. I had what's most likely a completely stupid idea that will solve nothing, but because it's late I'm going to go ahead and go through with it. Bear in mind that I don't think this is a proper solution to any conflict on the server, it's just a way to maybe combat a bit of division that seems to have cropped up in our community.
My idea here is that we should each say something nice about someone on the server, regardless of our opinion about them. It doesn't necessarily gotta be detailed or meaningful or anything, but it's gotta be nice. I'll go ahead and start.
@TheLegend12369 is super chill. He's been a great speaker of the senate, and seems like a pretty cool staff member as well. Playing minecraft volleyball with him is a blast and he's really nice.
