Now for some fun pokerumors:
-People claim this song gives them headaches (I happen to be one of them)
-There was one mysterious pirated copy of Pokemon Red Version called "Black Version" that was found in a pawn shop. It featured the regular pokemon game, but instead of having the original 3 starter pokemon, you had the ghost from Lavender Town Tower. This ghost knew only 1 move: Curse. The curse, however, is not like the curse that is featured in the newer games; curse, in this version, had 99 PP and killed every pokemon and every trainer (in one shot) that you encountered. After beating the Elite Four, you were to make your way back to Lavender Town to face all the ghosts of the people that you killed.
-There was supposedly supposed to be a boss at the top of the Lavender Town Tower called "Buried Alive" (can be seen below). This "trainer" would send out pokemon called "Whitehands" (which can be seen below). If you lost, two things could happen: 1) The came would freeze up or 2) "Buried Alive" would feast on your character (which can be seen below). This rumor, started by the player-base, was in reference to a phrase uttered by a child (can also be seen below). She would ask if you believed in ghosts; if you answered "No", she would state that there is a "white hand" on your shoulder.

What the player-base was making a reference to:
-Then there is the rumor of your character killing Gary Oak's raticate; this may actually be true. When Gary challenges you to a battle on the S.S. Anne, you fight his raticate. However, the next time you see him (which is in the Lavender Town Tower), he eludes to mourning a dead pokemon. He challenges you to a battle and he is missing one pokemon: his raticate. The player-base theorized that you kill it aboard the S. S. Anne.
