Referral Program

I think we should award people who refer friends to the server. Maybe the referring person gets like $1k if the referred person is at least somewhat active on the server (maybe the person should have at least one home either in a village or in the Outlands or maybe they have to be on the server for a set period of time)?

Just a thought. I know people would be more apt to refer friends if they get something out of it, and then we have more server goers?

I don't think it would cover people we have already referred... I think it would be a "from now on" thing.

My thought would be no. Making this retroactive could open up the doors to people who want to try and abuse the system.

However, we're still discussing the fine points, so this may change.

More info will follow once we have all the details ironed out.

Alright, here's the scoop.

The referral program is setup - rules follow:

• Referred player must be new to the server
• Referred player must have been active for a few days
• Referred player must have built or bought a house
• Both the referring player and the referred player must be online at the same time to have a staff member confirm and record the referral
