Top o' the nether to you, Gov'na

While I was exploring the nether, I noticed something come up on Rei's Minimap. I know that Rei's minimap does not work in the nether due to the ceiling cover. The thing that came up on my minimap must have been above the ceiling.

Before I begin the report, I want to make sure I remember some things clearly:
-The entire nether ceiling is bedrock, correct?
-Players should not be on top of the nether, correct?
-Normal players do not have the ability to break bedrock. (I know this one to be correct)


Now, as you can see from the screenshots above, it seems braingkk, Fuzzy_Yeti_69, and Dead_Pool_69 were above the nether ceiling and were building some sort of project (You can also see this was from a few months prior to today).  I logblocked some endstone I found near these buildings (from the design, I believe it is a pigman spawner) and I found that JANUARYJONES broke some of the bedrock there.


I am looking for answers for all of this. I really don't see this as a huge issue myself, but if the staff want to look into it a bit further, be my guest. I just want some explanations from brain, Dead_Pool, Jan, and Fuzzy.


P.S. I was able to get above the ceiling to investigate with the help of boylink.

Well, we had issues with a moderator doing the same thing but he protected it with world guard and it messed up some shit. As long as no one protects shit there...I don't care.

A couple weeks ago some players (I forget the names, off the top of my head) somehow managed to get on top of the bedrock in the nether.

I scooted them back to their homes with a spanking, but I was unable to locate the access point.

I am pretty sure there is an exploit to get up there.

Also, I asked Brain to build me a spawner, and Dead_Pool was just running around doing random stuff

Simply being on top of the Nether is not only possible, but also no big deal. There need be no punishment or taking of blame. Have fun up there
