A good education gives you a better chance of getting a nice job, makes you less likely to go to prison, makes you less likely to die early//gives a higher life expectancy and gives you more opportunity to do whatever. On a broader level good education leads to less teen pregnancy, lower crime rate, higher tax income for the gov. due to people with better paying jobs, more innovation in industry.

But I mean besides that I don't know, it sucks hey.

Good luck convincing the spoiled, writhing masses of this. Most think all they need is their iPhones and mommy/daddies' money and they will get by just fine. Western life is dictated and defined by name-brand clothing, MTV reality shows, very bad pop music, and a total ignorance of actual problems that exist in this world. But, on a truly fundamental level, education is the SOLE cure for the malaise and maladies of Western society.
