Please help I did a stupid

Brief summary of what happened:
I found a nether portal in the wild and hopped in. When I tried to leave I was tp'd to a huge drop with the catch things at the bottom and died. All my stuff went down one and I had an enchanted diamond sword. The thing is protected so I cant get my stuff back.

Seems like the portal you came back in was part of a Gold farm, Your sword should be in your inventory next time you log on.
