Internal Senate Rules
Internal Senate Rules only pertain to the Senate and are created by Senate Votes.
They are to be followed by all Senates and Senators, including future Senates.
The rules are as follows:

Rule 1
Speaker of the Senate Elections

All Speaker of the Senate elections will be held in the following manner: Senator names will be listed on discord in the senate-private channel with a number from 1-5 next to their names. To vote, each senator will use the react feature of discord to react with the emoji of any numbers between 1-5 corresponding to the number's respective senator who they would like to vote for. Senators can vote for as many senators as they approve of being speaker, including themselves. Each election will last 48 hours, however if all senators have voted, the election may be ended early. If not all the senators have voted within this time or if there is a tie, another election will be called after the conclusion of the preceding one. There can only be 1 election at any given time.

This election process can be streamlined through the use of the YAGPDB.xyz (Skynet) Bot. To initiate the vote process, use the -poll command as such:

Rule 2
Senate Building

The Senate building located in Alice Land Reservation at co-ordinates: 417, 64, 7 shall henceforth be the official Senate building of the VillageCraft Senate, as well as be the place where all in-game discussions, imprisonments, and hearings are recommended to occur.

Rule 3
Public Bills
Once a Senate bill has a draft text, that bill must be posted to the public Senate discord channel and/or forum board, so it can be reviewed by the players of VillageCraft prior to being voted on.

Rule 4
Senate Private Discord Channel
In order to preserve the integrity of Senate discourse and debate, only Senators will be allowed to comment on the #senate-private Discord channel.  Any questions directed to admins/staff will be notated with an @ symbol, and only those questions will be specifically addressed by non-Senators.
