Lemoncookies and I are currently constructing Cascade, a small village in the snowy tundra northeast (I think) of the main city of Qualia. It is a work in progress, so no one can really be invited to be a villager as of yet.
I plan to come back with screencaps of our village and details of benefits/buildings/etc for advertisement purposes as it grows and develops~
Coordinates are: 225, 135
I am still learning all the limitations and permissions Lemon and I have in altering the way our village operates, so be patient with us please. It's only our second day on the server.
Our village is coming up slowly b/c we intend to use some rare/expensive materials for building and it takes a while to farm the money. [Example of expected costs: colored wools, glow stone {1k$}, perhaps some red stone stuff]
Status Update for Cascade (2/11/2012):
- Wall finished
- the foundations and most of the guts of a general store and wool shop (shall discuss with admins to place server buy/sell stands)
- Placed outline for visitor center/info kiosk for questions
Upcoming eventually..sometime:
- My and Lemon's home
- Enchant shop for villagers only (yay~)
- Lemon is working on a small public wheat farm for villagers.
- Housing for villagers to actually live in
- maybe an inn for visitors to crash in, for a fee of course
- enlarge the stream so residents may fish for food
- IF we can get a blaze rod and stuff to make it, a brewing station for making potions.
Ideas that may or may not be utilized:
- animal farms: problematic due to the small footprint of the city
- public mine: I kind of..sort of..mined out ALOT of the ..well everything underneath Cascade to get mats to sell and build the village itself with..my bad. Building pretty villages is 'spensive yo.
To do list:
- Draft a rule book thingy
- Decide rent/fees/ or taxes if there are to be any at all
When Cascade officially opens, we will have a cake banquet for all to enjoy~
