Hobbes stealing from Jared
« on: 23 January 2013, 07:19:31 PM »

From what I can gather, Jared316 opened up a chest for Sax so they both could share things given by Dom. However, hobbes13 somehow managed to find his way to the chest and took quite a bit from it. The chest, to my knowledge, was located in Fort Equinox.

I asked hobbes some questions (which he did not respond to). I also asked a staff member to look into this, but the staff member was currently busy.

A few things to consider:
-Hobbes did take some valuable items
-Jared did leave the chest open instead of changing the lockette
-Hobbes had perms in the village to open the chest (Scrooge was the co-owner and apparently added him).

I will leave it up to the staff to muddle through this.

I think Jared should have added Sax to the lockette instead of breaking it. :/
If I were him I'd remove Hobbes13 from his village because he's proven he's not a trustworthy player so something like this doesn't happen again.

I think he already removed Hobbes.

There isn't much left to do then.
While stealing wasn't a very nice thing to do, Jared should have been cautious with the locks.

Seems pretty straightforward then. Jared was lazy and didn't want to change the lock... therefore the responsibility is solely on Jared.
