Monster spawning glitch?

I have this dark cave that I use for monster fights.  But now it doesn't spawn monsters anymore!  I have asked Star and she didn't know what the problem was.  Can you help me?

Very very rarely minecraft will glitch and think that too many mobs are spawned in that region (or something like that). This can be fixed by leaving for a bit and coming back, or bringing 2-3 people there to try to get it to jumpstart. If that doesn't work, it should work again next server restart.

You would also have to talk to the owner of Agony, which is Kyromine, who is rarely on.
