And now, the moment you've all been waiting for...
NPCs are now for sale again! We no longer sell boring inactive replicas, but armored adventuring companions who will fight with you. Currently we have two 'low-level' models for sale, but more types will open up as time goes on. Information follows:
NPC Information
- There are two modes that any NPC can be set in: Bodyguard and Sentinel.
- Bodyguards will follow you around and automatically engage monsters in your immediate area, as well as any player character that attacks you.
- Sentinels are positioned at one specific PVP-ON location and will attack any monster that strays into their range or attacks them. Sentinels can also be set to patrol a certain path through any PVP-ON area.
- The mode of the NPC is determined at the time of purchase.
- NPCs have as much as health as a regular player, and recover at a rate of 1 health point per 20 seconds.
- You can currently only have 1 Bodyguard at a time. You can have as many Sentinels as you like.
- Once a NPC reaches 0 health, they die permanently. If you want another NPC you will have to buy another one.
- NPCs are use at your own risk. Players can't attack them within town borders, but if a player or monster kills them in the Outlands you are out of luck.
- You can name your NPC! If it is the name of a player account it will inherit the current skin of that account. (We cannot change skins to match whatever name you want. Staff reserve the right to veto any requested NPC name for any reason)
