Hey!

This may not be the correct place to ask for this, as this is a vanilla server but I know lots of the players on this server and I know that they are nice people.

But anyway, I have been making a mod for quite a while now, and it is quite close to being at a point where I can release it to the public. It is called DecoCraft and it involves many decorative blocks to be added into the game. What I am asking for is if anyone would be kind enough to do some beta testing for me. I would prefer someone who has modded pnd plays with mods before, but it is not too big and difficult to install. If you were to help me, you would get this fancy cape for your character visible to anyone who has DecoCraft installed!



Again, I know this might not be the best place to ask for this, but like I said, I know you and I know that you are all nice, helpful people!
So if anyone wants to help me! Either reply to this message or PM me on the forums!

If you have forge installed, it is just a simple mods folder mod.

Unfortunately you need forge as I used it when coding. It is quite easy to install though, just drag all the files into the minecraft.jar. Same as things like ModLoader or Optifine

I have never used the magic launcher but if it can install forge into the jar, and this into the mods folder then yes, it will work!

Yeah i just need to find the latest working forge for it because it says my current forge file is outdated

Also, just so I can add in your names into the mod, if you could leave a note over the next 12 hours or so if you definitely want to do it. I need to have your full MineCraft username with any capital letters there may be as Java is very Case-Sensitive

I don't really like the term "head tester" because it indicates that some people are more important than others. To me you are all head testers

Ooooo new blocks! I will test but I tend to lag a lot.

It is not really that laggy, especially with the new performance boost that has been included in forge #644 and above

Just install it into the jar.
1) Delete the META-INF folder
2) Drag and drop all the files from Forge, into the minecraft.jar, leaving them in their folders.
3) Forge and FML has their own META-INF, don't forget to copy that over
4) Run minecraft to test!
