I must admit, in my sleepy stupor, I giggled at your response.
Anyway, tiring myself out isn't an option. If you did not see, I'm in a cast from major foot surgery. I'm completely non-weight baring on (unable to walk on) my left foot. I'm on crutches. Because of this, my mother doesn't allow me to get out of bed at night except for in dire bathroom emergencies on the off chance I fall and can't get up on my own...
So I get to roll around in my bed and watch movies until I pass out.

well here is more options
1:just closed your eyes and don't open them no matter what
2:go with the last sentence of your last post
3:eat a sandwich(don't go with this one)
4:Think of stuff that make you fall asleep like the history of yarn documentary.lol
wait how can you get to your computer to post or play villagecraft is it right next to your bed
and about your dire bathroom emergencies go before you go sleep if you don't.
now I just realized I need to figure out where to find azgath temple
if these don't work pm or post again.

LOL. I ain't commenting on that ;)

I was awake until 4:59 and woke up at 8:47 (don't ask why I remember the times. I do that when I'm tired)
Whoo. Not even whole 4 hours.

Hopefully I'll sleep better tonight. Totes going for the Tylenol PM.

I know insomnia. When the nights get to like 20C in summer it just gets worse  :( Thankfully winter now but still always have trouble sleeping. I have medication now that helps me sleep but before that it would take me 2-4 hours to get to sleep every night, sometimes more. Now I get to sleep usually within 2 hours.

Are you doing anything creative, like writing? Do something like that, then on about the last hour or two before bed watch a documentary on youtube or something. Don't watch stuff you will get to mentally engaged in. Just before going to bed write a small list of things you want to do the next day.

Or you could exercise every day, that helps :D :D  ;)

You could get some natural melatonin syrup, made from cherries, I find that helps me sleep. You can find it in pharmacies.
You could also count sheep! And then the thousands of wolves chasing after these chubby sheep... maybe not.
