I have spent so many years on this game and it's so addicting even though its kinda childish. I've met so many friends I dont know what to do . Toontown is closing on September 19th because its lacking funding and memberships. I am SO SO SO SO SO SAD Please tell me this isnt real. I will miss this game very much.

Very very sad for me, the only thing we get is our silly certificates. I had wasted $600 on memberships I had 4 maxed toons, an uber and a WIP maxed one.

At least they gave you a reason for it. The game I played that had been running for nearly a decade was shut down because "NCSoft said so". It had a supreme graphics engine, was excessively customizable, had loads of end-game content, had a loyal and supportive fanbase, was still turning a profit, and was the first and best MMoRPG of its kind. Shut down, because the parent company wanted to try to compete with games like LoL, WoW, etc etc.
