Youtube fucked up the comments!

Dammit! I don't want to use my fucking google+ just so I can see my comments and then not even be able to reply or moderate them! If you don't know what I'm talking about, check any youtube video.

I won't be getting a google+ just to use youtube properly. I'd say I'm not alone.

As someone who had a google account and used it for youtube, which is probably the opposite to most of you, I don't think it's that bad. However, they could have spent their time and resources trying to fix things like horrible lag with full screen chrome, and not being centred, rather than reworking the internals of the comments system.

Although, I've noticed the new character limit which has helped me to learn about the bioloy of a plant thanks to some idiot copying and pasting a Wikipedia article on the bottom of the video

As someone who had a google account and used it for youtube, which is probably the opposite to most of you, I don't think it's that bad.

A basic google account (which a youtube account qualifies as) is pretty different than FORCING EVERYONE to use Google+ to manage and post comments on all videos. I don't like the big scary monstrosity of a company google has become. I don't like how they don't give a fuck about their users, and I don't like their lack of care for basic privacy.

They added the reply button back. But we still have the stupid comment threads and inbox thing, but at least we have the reply button back. Also videos that were made using live streaming have the old comments.
