So, I found out today that the 220GB hard drive that came with my laptop those four or so years ago when I bought it is nearly full. I do have a terabyte hard drive which is pretty much empty, but I want to try and clear some stuff up as if I do get a new computer anytime soon, it will make transferring files that much easier!
What I have done:
- Cleared my downloads folder. Goodbye 6.8GB of random downloads from the past few years!
- Emptied my recycle bin. Cya 114,184 items clogging up 16.4GB of my hard drive for no reason! This will take a while, Windows predicts 21 hours. I obviously have too many files for Windows to delete at a time
- Removed system32. Waste of space anyway, doesn't do much
lol joking obviouslyAny more suggestions as to how I can clear disk space that don't involve reinstalling windows?
