Oh no they care. They don't care about Minecraft directly, rather they care about the $$$ it can bring in. Won't be surprised to see a Minecraft 2, paid DLC (like skins and stuff), a large number of seemingly small tweaks that somehow remove any challenge from the game, hopefully not a stupid shift to Origin or whatever MS tried to push.

Well, I don't think that its the end because why the hell would they buy it for so much money just to let it die? I think that the very best thing that can happen, and I think its quite likely, is that they will simply maintain it but they'll be too busy with their phones that don't sell to actually update it. I hate updates.

In my opinion minecraft has been dying a little lately. I know loads of people still play it which is great but it's lost its original feel and no longer has the cool old skool people like us playing and now consists of xbox dorks who think they're cool cause they got the pc version/hipsters who just bought it.
