So, This thing started out by me asking Dawggy The IP to the server he is Admin on. He said "No its Advertising" I new that Its not against the Rules to Advertise so i told him that. I Posted www.PornHub.com in the chat. (Ive done this 1000 times) and Peng said "Stop Advertising" I asked Why and he said "Because I said So". I was a bit Mad because I new that Advertising is Allowed. I do say sorry because i spammed a bit and did get muted for 5min which i guess it is. Later I asked him Told him that Advertising is Allowed and he said "k" I Asked him "The why the fuck did you tell me that it wasn't ok" he said "I don't think you deserve to Know the Answer" Which I don't understand If he new he was wrong why in the first place did he Say that it wasn't allowed. After this he starts asking me if Im autistic and shit like that Im not sure why tho. Im not sure what to think of all this But its pretty Fucking stupid.

Well it was a joke Noket. You can't tell me what is my joke and what is not. I said that after Doggy said no advertising, and it was to play with Shen when he said a pornsite link as if it was actual advertisement.

I told him it wasn't allowed because at first I thought it wasn't allowed. Then I looked back at the rules since I haven't been on here for awhile and saw it was allowed to a minimum. I said he didn't deserve an answer because he annoying me. spamming dawggy, dawg, dog, D O DOUBLE-G, etc. in chat when I was clearly AFK. If Im in the fault here, then I apologize.

I think with the logs Noket posted it presents a clear case that it was joking. Especially with winky and tongue out faces implying silliness and sarcasm.

For the record: we do not have a rule against advertising, so it's allowed. We do have a rule against spam, so it's not allowed. Now obviously what is considered "spam" can be a bit subjective, so staff discretion is required, and I've said in the past they can enforce it more harshly on constant advertising.

We allow advertising because mentioning another server in chat should not result in a fucking ban like it does on so many servers. And considering our free speech community, we shouldn't be censoring anything.

Anyways, so, in the future just be aware of this and let players know.



And with that said, "you don't deserve an answer" was probably unfair. It was a rule clarification request, I think a player deserves an answer. Maybe, I don't know the context. The only thing that actually happened was a 5 minute mute for spam which the recipient says was probably justified, so I don't see anything else to pursue here.
