I was wandering around Cloud City and I kept going in and out of hobbes' borders. Then Octo came and told me to leave, so I backed away from the village, then I launched a firework and had to land on flat ground (which was in the village), and then I went out of the village and went in again, then Octo banned me. This ban is unfair and unjust because Livid had told me that I did not have to leave Cloud City. It says NOWHERE in VC rules that you have to respect orders for villages and there is no penalty for not leaving a village. What harm can you even do if you don't have permission to build? Octo has made an abusive move and this action has shown that Octo went too far: instead of warping me or teleporting me out, he decided to ban me.

Again, it is not up to anyone to control where someone can or can't go, and nobody can be penalized for entering a village even if told not to.

wouldn't leave hobbes town when he asked, so I asked her, she planted a tree on hobbes bridge, i let hobbes cut it down because i knew she was being a douche on purpose, she left, came back with elytra and planted another tree and built a stack of 3 or 4 pumpkins, at that point i was about to tell her to knock it off and warp her away, but she started running circles around hobbes so i banned her for douche but to add to that list

we got minor greif (building on hobbes border)

I'd like to testify to Octo's inappropriate behaviour as a staff member;

About 2 - 3 weeks ago, Livid and I were having a discussion about the design of a crescent, when Octo jumped in and started provoking an argument with me out of nowhere. I posted a link showing the type of crescent I was talking about and he lost it, having a total tantrum and finishing off with a mute and storming off of the server. Livid was a witness to the event and unmuted me afterwards.

wouldn't leave hobbes town when he asked, so I asked her, she planted a tree on hobbes bridge, i let hobbes cut it down because i knew she was being a douche on purpose, she left, came back with elytra and planted another tree and built a stack of 3 or 4 pumpkins, at that point i was about to tell her to knock it off and warp her away, but she started running circles around hobbes so i banned her for douche but to add to that list

It is my opinion that Die did nothing wrong. What happened was that Die went to this village via walking/flying, whatever, and Hobbes decided to monitor the map and randomly sail over and demand that we go away. I did, but in my opinion, him just looking around and being like "oh, people I don't like are at one of the many villages I own even though I'm not there, time to sail over and escalate things!" Like what the hell? Whatever, I left but Die stayed there, which bythehow, is not against the rules. Then she went into the outlands on some cobblestone bridge which was there and apparently that was douchey too. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with that. Die also planted two trees there as well. Again, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, nothing Die did was wrong in my opinion. If anything, Hobbes intentionally escalated it by fucking coming over on a boat JUST to get her to leave. And then this is somehow called antagonising Hobbes? In my opinion, the real culprit is the person escalating things for no real reason but the fact that he doesn't like Die.

Die is in no way guilty and should be unbanned.

1.) I simply agreed with livid and you had a fit.

2.) I didn't lose it when you posted a link of a crescent, you started attacking me out of nowhere so I attacked you back.

3.) Yes I muted you, but I told livid to unmute you right away, I should not have done that, I apologize for that.

I think we both acted inappropriately that day, more so me as I should act as a community leader and not a rude player.

After examining the detailed list of rules there's nothing saying you have to listen to arbitrary staff requests, but there IS a rule against harassment, which is arguably what Hobbes did since he's the one who specifically came over to start the issue in the first place.

I wouldn't care actually, because it was only a tree and the path was literally a narrow cobble strip.

I object to the one day ban. The ban should be null because it was never stated by you nor VC core rules that it is illegal to "trespass" on someone else's property/village/bathroom. You escelated the thing way too far and sided with hobbes to get me banned. A ban is not fair at all since there was no punishment at all for this matter, and the "ignoring staff" rules don't apply since for the fifth time, you could have warped me away.

@OctoGamer the logic for keeping the ban is equivalent to saying, "I'm going to punish you severely and not give you a warning for leaving the house on Tuesday because I'm a cop." (where does it say anywhere in the law that this is illegal, a punishment was handed out now I have to appeal it..)

i've been working on a post here with updated rules, since not many people go on the rules doc, and some rules need to be more specific and have examples with them apparently.
