Overview
Following the Parliament of Gerelskovy passing the Empire Dissolution Act via a margin of 17 for 13 abstentions, a referendum on the future of the Empire is triggered. What this means is that in case of a 'Yes' vote the Empire's dissolution will be confirmed by Parliament and if a vote confirming it passes by the elected chamber the Empire will be dissolved. Instead, a strong, central Kingdom of Gerelskovy will be established on the mainland, which already exists. The remaining villages of kog and surrounding villages of kog including farms will form the Kingdom of Gerelskovy. Loyal villages of the Empire may choose to become dependencies of the Kingdom. Essentially, all overseas provinces will be let go in case of a 'Yes' vote in favour of a more central, more direct and more powerful and wealthy Kingdom of Gerelskovy. In case of a 'No' vote, the Empire will remain with HMS Shensley at its helm and all villages under the central Gere Parliament or local assembly. All previous privileges apply.
