Laundry
« on: 30 September 2017, 11:42:38 PM »
Since the forums have been slow I decided to tell this story of what I saw in the laundry room in the dorms.

With the moving away from my home to continue my study with many other students, all of us now have to do our laundry by ourselves. Simple enough.

So yesterday I was doing my laundry, and I see this guy with his friends start doing their laundry. Everything seems to be going well, the guy is separating his clothes and all until he shows the "soap" that he is going to use. One of his friends takes the bottle and looks at it, she says "I don't think this is for clothes." And the guy says that yes it us for clothes and they argue back and front. And I just hear the guy yell "I don't know, the label is in Spanish!!!" So I look at the bottle and the logo see that it is a floor cleaning supply liquid and the reason i know its that is because its the same brand that I use at home to clean the floor, Fabuloso.

So in conclusion the guy almost washed his clothes with floor cleaning because the label was in Spanish, that's college for you folks LOL

Simple enough.

Never! For every mundane activity, there's always someone to completely mess it up in comical ways.

I'm honestly so curious what using "Fabuloso" in a washing machine would do. Awesome product name btw.

Fabuloso is made by the same company that makes Colgate toothpaste. Fun facterino.

I've yet to do laundry yet at uni. The machines seem too complicated. I'm waiting for an experienced adult to show me what to do 🤔

"Fabuloso" is one of the best names I've heard in a while though :)

lol, for most modern washers:

clothes in
soap in,
ON

move clothes to dryer,
dryer sheet in,
ON

some older washers, or washers of a certain style, you can fill the water with the soap first, then add clothes.
if you're washing all your cute pink thongs, you can sometimes set the washer to delicates. same if you're washing your chainmail and gauntlets, you can put it to bulky. generally just use regular. if you don't know what to do about hot/cold water choices, warm or cool are both safe bets. if you have to pay for it, and it costs more for capitalism reasons, cold all the way baby. remember to use only Fabuloso floor cleaner, and avoid the countless brands of washer soap, they are inferior to Fabuloso floor cleaner.
