IRC is now running on a whitelist-filtered system. Unless you're on the list of registered users, your messages will not show up in-game. This is an effort to try and combat spam. Apologies for those of you using it for genuine reasons.

If you want to be added to the whitelist, you can reply to this post, message me on here or in-game, ask me on steam, or talk to any staff member, who'll pass on your request.

I should've put this in the main post, but when you whitelist me could you tell me the nickname you're using for irc. I'll assume it'll be the same as your username for most people, but you might want something different. Sorry

The nickname I usually use is either Rags, RagsDeeboo, or RagsTheGay.

Whenever I try to get on IRC, it lets me on but nobody's messages show up, and the things I say don't show up in-game either. Can someone check on this?

Okay, it's fixed. You can now talk between IRC and VC/VCV. I'm assuming VC <=> VCV chat also works, but I'll need someone else to log in to either of them for me to test it.

Also, I updated the whitelist

I'm also trialling a new command on VCV for non-irc chat. If it works out well, I'll put it on VC too in a few days.

It's exactly like /l, except it'll show to everyone online rather than just those around you, and it'll look exactly like a normal message. The only difference between it and a regular chat message is it won't be seen on IRC. People might want that, especially when talking between servers, so I tried it.

Syntax: /p This is a message that won't be shown on IRC
Display: [P] <luisc99> This is a message that won't be shown on IRC

(Formatting may change)
