Currently one problem with setting up or joining current villages is who can you trust. I will take Narnia for example. We let someone join and they ended up griefing a few houses. I have heard several other examples just from chat of people complaining about others.
To fix this if possible. Would be to allow village owners to sub divide their own areas so that they can chose where people can and can not build in their down village. Now this would be the decision of the owner when the admin creates the area. Either to leave in our current system that if you are a member you can build anywhere, or chose this new way.
There are several things that this helps such that if a person chose the new system all the admin has to do is set owner and region and leave the rest to the owner. Also it would take out the uncertainty of allowing new people into your village as you can set it so that they can only build in certain areas.
Now there are a few issues with this system, but with allowing the old system to be side by side. Now it does require owners if they wish to use this system to understand how it works, but that is a choice not a requirement.
