I actually really enjoy Tekkit; in fact, I was recently playing on a Tekkit server so I could take a break from VC. They made me a mod, but they were so unorganized and uncontrollable that I left. The op's would actually steal land from other people and then complain "grief" when the person wouldn't remove their building. They would break things owned by others and would hide the truth from people. They could not be bothered to give me the commands needed for my mod duties, so I could not perform my job efficiently.
All in all, they were a group of disorganized, unfair people. I did not want to be a part of their "wolf pack", so I made a post on their forums about their griefing and their terrible behavior. They hid that post and posed as me (via the disguise plug in) and started randomly killing people to soil my name. I wanted nothing to do with such a staff, so I quit.
On a side note, I would like to thank the staff of VC for being fair (for the most part [yes, there will always be a slip up, but all in all, you all do a fine job]). I hope you all keep up the fine work!
