I found this annoying as I was installing mods now I can't get the version back.
Just a tun of updates and now we have to update the server. AGAIN!

I thought 1.4.4 was just an update to fix bugs, and you should be able to downgrade.

Yeah, it appears as if 1.4.4 is a full update, as it also includes 1.4.3 in it. Don't be a dumbass like me and, not paying attention, updated my .jar to 1.4.4. Now to figure out how to revert to an old .jar.
